מתאם הרשת CN-8032-L Profinet תומך בתקשורת סטנדרטית של Profinet IO Device.המתאם אינו תומך ביתירות MRP ובלא יתירות רשת צלצול.והוא תומך במצב תקשורת RT בזמן אמת, עם פרק זמן מינימלי של תקשורת RT בזמן אמת של 1ms. המתאם תומך בקלט מקסימלי של 1440 בתים, פלט מקסימלי של 1440 בתים, ומספר מודולי ה-IO המורחבים שהוא תומך הוא 32.
